Yes, it has been a while since I made a post.
It’s not that I’m not thinking about it or not working on it (which I am). It’s that this whole life thing got in the way — but at least I finally got the hedges trimmed.
Oh, and then there’s also First Event 2011.
I am a co-chair of the organizing committee for First Event 2011, one of the oldest annual transgender conferences in the country, and as the conference gets closer, I get busier.
This year, the theme will be “One Community,” the keynote speaker will be Jamison Green, and we are putting together an expanded Transmasculine Track of workshops for folks on the female-to-male transgender spectrum (that’s one of my jobs).
The conference is organized by the Tiffany Club of New England. You can get more information about the conference on the First Event 2011 web site.
